Three Man Team Runs Miami Lakes Office of Atlantic Coast Investigations-  June 1999

Atlantic Coast Investigations is a full-service private investigative company specializing in insurance fraud investigations, video surveillance, background, pre-employment, personnel, search and locate, asset, undercover and domestic/matrimonial investigations.

Licensed in Florida since 1988, Atlantic Coast Investigations serves all of Florida with experienced investigators and the latest in telephoto video equipment. The company conducts surveillance using proven methods that maximize results and minimize costs. Investigations are tailored to observe and document the activity of subjects in question and video cameras, tapes and still photography are used on all cases at no additional cost.

The concept of creating an intermediate-sized investigative agency was the dream of Juan Rey, owner and president of Atlantic Coast Investigations. With a B.S. in criminology and a wealth of experience gained from working for some of the giants in the industry, Rey decided to correct their mistakes by creating his own company. Today, corporate headquarters is located in Miami Lakes.

In addition to Rey, the team consists of Leo Sanchez, operations and investigative director, and Juan Garcia, corporate account executive, both professionals with extensive experience in investigative services.

“The move to establish our corporate headquarters in Miami Lakes was predicated on different factors. An important point was that a number of major defense firms were moving into the area; our proximity to them is important to our business,” Rey said. For the team, being investigators is the utmost importance.

“We are investigators first – businessmen second,” Rey said. “It is a challenging business. It is a battle of wits. Our job is to observe, document and put the pieces together impartially and basically even the playing field.”
